Paleo recipes have no grains, no dairy, no legumes, no refined sugars. Pretty much everything else is possible, including potatoes (although there’s some disagreement about that?), meats, nuts, seeds, fruits, vegetables and natural sweeteners like maple syrup, honey and coconut palm sugar (a granulated sugar) in moderation.
Most Paleo recipes for baked goods are made with almond flour and coconut flour, and the Paleo recipes on this page are no exception. Tapioca starch/flour is also allowed on the Paleo diet, and it’s a great way to lighten up baked goods.
