how to make

1. Combine the pumpkin puree with  maple syrup, apple cider (or juice),  pumpkin pie spice, and salt.

2. Simmer over medium heat, stirring  frequently, until reduced by about half  and darkened in color.

3. Store in an airtight glass container  in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Your homemade pumpkin butter can  be used in a variety of recipes!
